1. Information we collect
Account and authentication data
- Your name, email address and (optionally) profile image, either provided directly or imported from Google when you sign in with Google.
- Authentication events such as sign-in timestamps and the identity provider used.
Payment-related information
- Order metadata, payment status, currency and amount for each … · … access purchase.
- Payment gateway references (e.g. order ID and payment ID). We do not store card numbers, UPI credentials or bank details — these are handled by our payment processor.
Listening progress
- The chapter you are on, your audio playback position and current PDF page, used to power "Continue Listening".
Cookies and session data
- Strictly necessary cookies and local storage entries used to keep you signed in and to maintain your session.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the audiobook service, verify your … access and remember your listening position.
- To process payments and issue receipts for the … access fee.
- To respond to support requests you send us.
- To detect and prevent abuse of the service.
3. Data security
We store data in managed cloud infrastructure with row-level access controls and encrypted transport. Audio and PDF files are held in private storage and served only via short-lived signed URLs to customers with active paid access.
4. Third-party services
- Authentication: Google Sign-In (Google LLC) for OAuth logins.
- Payments: Razorpay for payment processing (to be enabled before launch).
- Infrastructure: Managed backend, storage and email delivery providers used to operate the service.
5. Data retention
Account, purchase and access records are retained for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with tax, accounting and anti-fraud obligations. Listening progress is retained while your account exists.
6. Your rights
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account, subject to legal record-keeping requirements.
7. Children
The service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
